Cacao Records is thrilled to close out the year with a captivating release from our close friend and talented artist Sevdavision. Known for his unique blend of melancholy and hopeful moments of life, refined with complex yet catchy melodies that resonate deeply with listeners. "If you can imagine James Blake inviting Chet Baker to sing over his beats, while Louis Cole is helping out with some nice harmonies", then you're entering the world of Sevdavision.
"For Now," encapsulates that moment when the weight of past emotions tugs at your heartstrings, pulling you back in. It's that familiar feeling of needing to act on your emotions, even though you know you probably shouldn't. And so, you find yourself waiting, observing, and simply living in the moment - for now.
This release features two unique versions of "For Now." The first remix, masterfully executed by Pied Plat, a masterful return of the Berlin-based electroacoustic live project. They draw inspiration from the rich history of house and techno sounds in Detroit. Their unique approach, honed in Karlsruhe, Germany, brings a fresh perspective to this release. The members of Pied Plat have known each other since childhood and have cultivated their passion for music together, making this remix a testament to their enduring friendship and creative synergy.
The second remix, crafted by KEENE, delves deep into the realms of melancholy. It's a testament to Keene's versatility as producers creating a track that truly captures the essence of the year's end with their outstanding productions.
